Vehicle Insurance

Rental vehicle and third party insurance is included in our rates and is subject to a Excess of
NZ$ 2000.00. Drivers under the age of 21 years are subject to a NZ$3,000 insurance excess. Any holder of a full licence who has not held their licence for 12 months or more is also subject to an excess of NZ $ 3,000.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

The hirer may choose to reduce the insurance excess by payment of an optional Collision Damage Waiver of $10.00 per day. This reduces the excess to $500. This applies to a minimum three day hire period. Drivers who are under the age of 21 years are not able to reduce their excess by payment of the Collision Damage Waiver.

Drivers

Drivers must be 21 years old or over and hold a valid New Zealand, International or overseas recognised drivers licence. We accept US, Australian, Canadian, English and European Licences.

Our rates include unlimited kilometers.

24hr Roadside Service

All of our vehicles are covered by the New Zealand Automobile Association 24hr Roadside assistance service for your convenience and safety.
